I am Abdulmuhsin Alattar, and I go by Mohsen. My story begins with Arabic type. Growing up in Kuwait, it surrounded me, not just as written words, but as symbols of culture and identity. Its rhythm and history captivates me, and I imagine how it will continue to transform in the years ahead.
Design, to me, is not about surface beauty. It is about uncovering meaning, tracing connections, and shaping ideas that resonate. I am guided by curiosity and the pursuit of fascinating design. These are the forces that keep me questioning, learning, and creating with intention.
أنا عبدالمحسن العطار، وينادونني محسن. بدأت علاقتي بالخط الطباعي العربي في الكويت، حيث كبرت وكانت العربية حولي في كل مكان. ومع الوقت، صرت أرى فيها أكثر من كلمات تُقرأ؛ أرى ثقافة وهوية. يشدّني إيقاع الخط العربي وتاريخه، ويثير فضولي ما قد يتغيّر فيه مستقبلًا.
التصميم بالنسبة لي يتجاوز جمال الشكل الظاهري. هو طريقة لفهم المعنى، وربط الأفكار، وتقديم شيء يبقى أثره. يدفعني الفضول إلى السؤال والتجربة، وإلى فهم ما أصمّمه ولماذا.
